The smallest house on the estate and one of the oldest stone cottages in Apremont, dating back to the 16th Century.

  • Amenities - Access to the Games Room (books, family games) and  Laundry Room located in two of the outbuildings starting from 2025

 

Need to know

  • In our holiday cottage we’ve intentionally omitted a TV to help you fully immerse yourself in the surrounding nature and attractions.

  • Accessibility - No access for wheelchairs - The cottage is over 500 years old so there are a few steps from the garden to the bedroom door and a narrow door from the living area to the bathroom.

  • Smoking -Not permitted within any part of La Clarissière, the garden, grounds or park.

  • Fires - No lighting of fires is allowed, which can set fire to dry areas of our land and countryside.

  • Barbecuing - Might be limited to certain days or times during heatwave by municipal decree

  • Pets - We are unable to accommodate pets, so please do not bring your pets with you.

PRICES

La Maison Basse is available for week-long bookings during June, July, August and early September – these run from Saturday-Saturday.

Check-in is from 4pm and check-out by 10am.

​

2025 Prices

Low Season (June & early September): €840 per week

High Season (July & August): €980 per week

Prices include towels, bed linens and cleaning fees.

​

A 50% deposit is due at the time of booking. The remaining balance and a €150 security deposit are due eight weeks prior to your stay. For bookings made within the next eight weeks the full balance is due on booking.

You security deposit will be returned to you after your stay, less any breakages – these will always be discussed with you first.
